took the wife's 500 to fiat with stop start prob ie s&s warning light and warning triangle.they say low battery and brake switch problem ,I had the battery checked before I went to them and it was found to be perfectly good condition,we all know when this prob appears the two warning lights come on and that tells me they are linked.but fiat won't have this ps if the brake switch was a problem,then the brake lights would either always be on or never come on depending on which position the switch was stuck .any comments Bob

A battery that passes a CCA test is by no means guaranteed to satisfy S/S, unfortunately. Start by having it fully charged.

The brake switch should have just two wires and be easy enough to test, or even substitute.
