Well guys today i thought i would route my usb bable for my iphone. As i did not want it draped over the dash. and i can stotre the end in the vent.

Nice cable job! Was it difficult to hide and route the cable around the centre console area? I haven't pried any of those panels off yet. Will probably do so once I get the Kenu AirFrame mount for my iPhone.

BTW it might be worth buying some 3rd party cables in black. Especially if you have tinted windows, it makes cables harder to spot with a casual glance.

No it was simple to remove the trim by the drivers feet, Only 3 screws. Then pull the trim towards yo. There are 2 push in clips a bit like the little pocket by the gear stick. Route wire by pedel box and then push the cable up the side of the door. The door seal will allow you to push cable in between the dash and door seal.

I may even drill a small hole in the center console so the usb plug is closer to the cars usb connector

I don't mind the cable being white as I will never leave my iPhone 5 on display in the cradle.

Today i got brave and drilled a hole in my center console. I have now routed my cable so it is nice and tidy. And can plug into the blue & me usb port.
