I'm on here about these bulbs a few times, and my advice is to jack the car up and remove the front wheel.
By doing that, the dog can see the rabbit, and if you have big hands like me that won't go in, you can at least see in and use whatever tool you can get into the hole to extract the bulb and its holder.
I use a pair of snipe-nose pliers to grip the holder, but I like the idea of using a spanner.
