LHD/RHD Headlights for driving on Right?

How do you swap the beams to drive in America? Is there anyway of adjusting the spread of light or is it going to be tape and beam benders etc?

(The 500's in the dealers and so's the handbook in case your wondering)

Jim

Hi Jim, I think with most cars the lenses either need changing, or the sticky converters need to be fitted.

I know with some cars that use the clear lenses that you can adjust them in the back for all the funky mirrors to bend the beam....

Not sure with the 500 thou.

But on the other hand I drove 7000 miles in 2006 in the states with the panda with nothing on the lights and not one person flashed me!

American headlights have a weird light spread anyway so no one might notice

Good point.

Unless they are adjustable and they've done that, or they're driving illegally.

Mmm... was thinking of something a little less perminant, LOL

Just called the dealers and they said to phone customer services....

So there's no LHD/RHD setting on the back of the unit?
