Greetings, does anyone have any experience of trouble shooting the parking lights?? I have just changed my head lights to RHD and the fittings include the integral parking light. The old dual system light is now only an indicator. The wiring changes were simple and the lights all work as they did before, but, when selecting position II on the key and selecting position I on the column switch the parking lights do not Illuminate at all
I think that the only thing I could do is trace the wiring back from the lamp to the switch and hopefully detect a fault on the way. A new switch is around €50 so I'm hoping it's not that at fault. Any ideas people:bang::bang:

well, it could be the wiring .. it`s worth checking it out once again

No, not a sausage Andrew. it's fair do'in me ed in!!! The original loom is in a sad state so I think I'll have to work back from the parking lights to the column switch and hope I find a bad connection. I should be able to isolate the individual circuits by unplugging the switch wires that I can identify and see what transpires??

Have you an electrical diagram for your model?

Its the white colour on the change over switch on a 500L.....

Thanks Andrew - noted I do have a wiring diagram thanks. This job is on the back burner at the moment while I sort the carb service.
