Hey up all,

So then, quick question.

Who can add a stationary rev limiter to my multijet 150?

I have seen a few videos and had the pleasure of smoking a fabia vrs that had one... he got me on the launch but i soon caught up and blew him away.

At the moment, im led to believe its running a custom map, having spoke to a specialist who said he has the original map... however he is 150mile away.

Does anyone else know of any tuners that can add a stationary rev limiter at around 4k and then a rev limiter of around 5,100k whilst moving...

It can be done, it has been done on a stilo but its hardly ever seen.

Can anyone help?
Or should i just shift quicker lol... would really like it to help launching at the start of the bypass i regularly drive on...

Ok - so as I suspected.

It can be done to the multijet :)

It's very simple to do too, if you have the kit to modify the map in the ecu.

I have also spoken to RS Tuning in Leeds, they where recommended by a colleague at work who has a Scirroco 2.0 TSI DSG, it was remapped a couple of weeks ago and made 281 hp on the third run, this was a hot weather with a heat soaked engine, he has a BMC induction kits, uprated diverter valve and full straight through miltek exhaust system - car was 210hp standard.

Anyhow - been quoted £200+vat to have the popcorn style rev limiter done, im hoping it can be done when I actually have it remapped again (once i have got round to purchasing a stainless straight through system)... hoping it wont be an extra £200 as he can actually do it whilst he's modifying and power running the custom maps...

Hopefully will be doing it August / September :)
