Yeah, it looks straight apart from the dent on the front wing (which I'll have to see to at some point, presuming the car is everything it's supposed to be and I go through with the sale)...

The dash looks 80s epic, but apparently had issues?

Start it from cold and when warm. And you know to have a poke in the back of those rear wheel arches ! Good luck.

Jumping ahead now - if on the original shocks, new ones will bring you handling as the factory intended and also new trailing arm bearings at the back - there are kits on Ebay.

Collected the Tipo. Sweet ride from London to Liverpool... There's a few little things to fix, but overall very happy tonight!

There's no rust, but a few paint blemishes. Anyone know how I can find colour to match 1989 metallic light Tipo green?

Take the colour code to a branch of Halfords, and they'll mix some paint for you there and then.

Cool sauce, I found one but I'm not allowed to buy it.. Oh the troubles of being 18..

The green one was nice, my Tipo had similar hubcaps.

Thanks. Looks great from a few metres away, but naturally isn't quite so great close up! Quite a few little jobs to do, but I have to say I'm pretty chuffed!

The faded Fiat badges annoy me... Not just the grille and boot, but also the TDS badges on the front wings. I guess the colour can't be brought back? The Fiat ones look pretty easy to find, but where the hell will I find new TDS badges?

Did you drive the tipo all the way back? I passed a nice old dark green tipo on my route back from Salisbury to Bradford on wednesday evening, pointed it out to the misses - love the tipo's

Yes, I drove from Surrey to Liverpool... But that was yesterday so couldn't have been me! I'd love to see other Tipos, but the one outside is the only one I've seen in ages... Lovely thing it is too.

Ahh cool nice cars when looked after, would like a turbo or the uno turbo have fun with it.
