Hi all,

Also on the look out for a decent 5-door Tipo to rekindle my youth and replace the crappy Citroen Nemo I'm currently driving…

So, I've been looking in all the usual places (foolishly didn't follow up on the red one recently being sold on Gumtree London, idiot!), but all I'm finding are 100,000k plus motors.

Can it really be true that there are no decent Tipos around? If you know of one, can you give me a shout?

Ta!

(can't believe I've been lurking on here for ages and I've finally worked up the courage to post something!)

Hi, and welcome, :)

where are you based..?,
the Met.Blue low miler in London in FF classifieds seemed o.k.,

Hi varesescrazy!

My fault, that beauty would have been perfect! I lost faith, so stopped looking for a while and missed it. Idiot.

There was also a metallic red one in London a couple of weeks ago, but I just couldn't get down there to take a look - I'm based in Liverpool...

Autotrader has one at the moment in Blackpool, apparently, but it's done over 100k and is simply described as 'green'. For the £500 he's asking I'm wondering if it's worthwhile...

Thanks - I'll be looking more regularly now!

Seen the autotrader one, been for sale for ages, it's been on classiccarsforsale.com for ages, I've asked him a few times for photos but he doesn't reply, I've texted him with the number provided on autotrader too, and called, no answer.

I miss my Tipo so much, regret selling it so much! I really really want another.

Hi Tomaskii,

Will do! I thought the Autotrader one had been on for a while - did he not reply at all? Sounds a bit dodgy... I've been going back through the Tipo pages and it looks like you had a gorgeous 1.4... I can understand why you're gutted you sold it! I'll keep looking ... There's got to be a nice one out there somewhere. I've spotted a purple metallic one in Liverpool a few times, so there's definitely some still around. Good luck with your search (and if you see two...)

It was spur of the moment selling it! But selling that car was the worst thing I've ever done car wise :(

He didn't reply at all, seems dodgy. If you see any for sale give me a shout ;) I'd really really like another.

Course I'll give you a shout if I see anything out there. But, given how few Tipos are left, I'm worried things could get ugly!

In the meantime, I'll have to settle for the vicarious joy of Montalbano's grigio beaut!!! Now, where's that DVD?

Haha yeah, hopefully not! I spoke to the guy who owns my Tipo, he said someone tried to buy it but he's not budging :). I'd also like a Tempra, I know a guy selling a station wagon, not my cup of tea. Prefer the sedan.

Hi, I may have a Tipo for sale?????
I have a Tipo and also a Lancia at the moment, which is my daily driver and I've just put it through it's MOT at a cost of over £200.
Now I did this to see what would happen as I haven't done anything to the Lancia for 10 months, just put petrol in it and drove it, with the odd wash!
I did this to carry on using it as it's insured and I couldn't be arsed to mess about, it was better than I expected as the MOT was £45.
My Tipo has been sat on my drive since the end of September, it's MOT'd and insured and I was going to Tax it, put a new cambelt kit and water pump on it and do it up.
The problem is my wife is doing her nut as she cannot drive the Lancia (no power steering and heavy clutch) and she is not too keen on the Tipo.
She wants me to get rid of both of them and get something normal, but what her normal is I don't know.
If your interested give me a shout and I will get pictures for you, if the price is right we may have a deal, don't want to sell, but don't want a knagging wife!!!

Also very interested. :) I'd love to see pics of your Tipo. Where are you based?
Tomaskii, I hope this isn't treading on your toes...

Well I won't fight you over it dude! This is your thread, after all! But if you decide against I'd definitely be interested!
