Hi, seeking your feedback relate to winter cabin heating. 2024 500e model will be available in Canada soon and we are interested in buying one. One of my concerns is lack of heating pump and preconditioning for winter season where sometimes temperatures can drop between -20-30 Celsius. If someone could provide their experience related to 500e in winter time especially during cold temperatures. Or how is cabin heating in general?

Thank you

Hasn't really been that cold in the UK over the past couple of years to make a proper judgement. The 500e can be set to precondition the cabin though (either through app or the car) and, if set to do that whilst plugged in, won't be reducing range. The heater is pretty effective in demisting and keeping the cabin warm but isn't as efficient as a heat pump. Winter range has been 2/3 to 3/4 that of summer range as a result.

So in Canadian Temps that would be around 1/2 the summer range
