i like the chrome ones but i dont know if they would go with a grey car.plus i dont want to offend anyone who may have it but i think chrome looks a bit chavish unless the car colour is one that stands out from the crowd like orange.

I've just got some chrome wing mirror covers for my new orleans blue sporting, can anyone offer any advise on how to remove the old covers?

I can't see anywhere to get the old covers off.

I've put the chrome ones on mine.
You need to remove the mirror glass itself first. Push it as far as it'll go in the bottom so the top sticks out, then get a screwdriver down behind it and pop it off its mount (careful not to break the clips and/or drop the mirrors!).
You can then get to the clips that are holding the covers on and pop 'em off.
The new set then just simply push on until they click into place.
Pop the mirrors back onto their mount, and bosh, job done. (y)

just do visual mods that are easy to replace back to standard, thats what i am doing. even a GSR induction on a non-turbo is easy to take off and replace with the old airbox for when it goes in for any warranty work.
