Actually I didnt do anything with the original body cause I wanted to keep it as it is.
So at the moment, as on the last photo, everything is still there.
I didnt thought about cutting arches until I faced problem with the wheels.
Wheels that will be in place for Dallara body kit are much wider with way bigger offset than original one's.
Currently I have fitted wheels that fit slightly better but faced problem with clearance. Rear tyres touched the rop of original arch and front tyres were interfering with original arch when turning. I have solved this problem by putting 20mm spacers in rear suspension and 15mm in front.
All this was done because I didnt want to cut the original body.
Anyway, I am now ordering proper wheels that will have a perfect fit for the car without wheel and suspension spacers.
And this would probably be a reason for cutting the arches.
But if these pieces could be welded back, why wory?
So I would probably suggest to cut them at the starting point because as for me, its gonna be a hell to cut them with bodykit fited.
