General Whistling Noise

Anyone have any ideas what could cause an intermittent high pitched whistling noise. Sounds like its coming from the passenger wheel area.

Mostly come on intermittently when going along at bypass speeds or going in 2nd gear.

i get a similar thing, i'm sure it comes from the drivers side and has something to do with a aux belt keep meaning to sort it. do you find it goes when the engine has warmed up a bit?

I get a noise when you get to a certain rev's when the engine is cold, when its warm it go's. Im not worried about it but would like to know what it is.

Did you ever get the bottom of your issue with the whistling noise? I'm experiencing what sounds like a similar issue with my Punto and am looking for help.

Can you let me know how you got on?
