what are the biggest alloys you can get on a fiat seicento sporting that will go straight on standard?

allso if maybe not, what is a sensible lowing drop and what best straight fit wheels option would that leave me with?
thanks

lowerings up to you. can get anything from a 15mm drop to a 70mm drop.

wheel wise. 15" can fit but ruins the car. ive dropped 70mm with 14" wheels and have no clearance issuse. with 15" could mabee drop 30mm MAX and the car would sit back at its original hight.

id say get 14" and drop it to whatever level you want.

Not many folk have tried all the wheel options & give incorrect advice.

I've tried everything from 13x5" Cinq Abarth Speedlines, OEM Cinq 13x5.5", 14x6 aftermarket, Sei Abarth with OEM 14x5.5", & Cinq + Sei on 15x6" wheels with all sizes of tyres 175/50/13, 165/55/13, 175/50/14, 185/50/14, 195/45/14 & 165/50/15 & overall the best combination in terms of feel, feedback & grip are the 165/50/15 on a 15x6" wheel.

Though you can only buy very few aftermarket 15" wheels in a 6" width as most are at least 7" wide which is a no go on Centos.

By sticking to 6" wide & a 165/50/15 tyre you can go as low as you can on 175/50/14 shod car & in fact get more clearance than you do on a 185/50/14 or 195/45/14 shod car.

And our track day Cinq runs height adjustable AVO front coil-overs on 300lb springs & helper springs to prevent the spring unseating on droop, Eibachrear lowered springs with a coil cut off to get it lower than it originally sat plus we run the longer 6 speed gearbox & get no issues whereas on the Abarth 14" wheels on 185/50/14 tyres the off-side tyre rubbed badly on gearbox & gave a very soggy turn in.

good point there arron. what spacers do you run with the 15"?

do you think that having coilovers help with clearance. (not due to physical possitioning of the wheel but rebound?)

We run on both Centos the same spacers as provided by Fiat on OEM 14" Abarth fittings which is 10mm front only. Spacers of course are all dependent on the offset of the fitted wheels, this is all well documented on here by many though extensively by me.

The height adjustable coil-over suspension on the front of the Cinq make no difference to clearance issues as we run KW non height adjustable damper/spring combo on the Sei. We have run the 15" wheels on both.

Of course the one thing to consider is when fitting any wheels which are bigger than standard you not only may increase rolling radius but unsprung weight & therefore acceleration is affected, so much so Fiat themselves on the Sei Abarth/Schumi models fitted a shorter final drive to insure the 0-60times remained the same as the 13" wheeled cars.
