Technical Wheel torque

I would advise backing them off and retorquing otherwise you could end up with the bolts fused to the alloy and the only way to then get them off is a core drill which the ruins the alloy!
Trust me i speak from experience!!

140 NM is way to much....
Even 100 NM is on the high side, official Fiat figures are 86 NM for both steel and alloy.
I set my torque wrench at 90 NM for aftermarket alloys, and 86 NM for steel winterwheels....
But maybe the MPV versions use a higher torque..?

One more thing what size should be the wheel nuts be 17mm or 19mm?

I have 17mm on the wheels and a 19mm on the spare wheel carrier!!!
