General What tyre size?

Hi all.


My mum asked me today about here tyres. She lives 30 miles away and asking her what size they are is like banging my head against the wall. Its a Seicento 1.1 sporting with original alloys y reg. Mot warning given last year so she now wants these replaceing. So what i need to know is the size of them. And what is the cheapest replacement i can get for the front 2 tyres?. From memory a few years back i remember only being able to get them replaced with very expensive michelins.


Hope you can help with what the size is or i have got to do a 60 mile round tip.

for a non-Abarth it's 165/55R13,
for non-Abarth you've got the choice of
* Nankang XR611 (which are apparently useless but cheap)
* Goodyear Eagle Touring NCT3 (if you can still get them)
* Pirelli P700 Z (if there are any in the UK)

For the Abath you've got 175/50R14 Pirelli P6000's and that's your lot :S

Given substitute sizes are 175/50R13 for the non-Abarth and 185/50R14 for the Abarth both of which have a number of high quality candidates, but they all cost a small fortune for the size of car
