Morning all. New here but have spent lots of time on mig welding so not to forums.
I'm part way converting a 2008 scudo van into day camper/ daily run about and van (i'm an maintenance technician mainly electrical and mechanical on high power radio transmitters). i wish to fit a nigh heater to aid with defrosting van and to convince the wife we don't need to stay in hotels when there is snow on ground. i have found a nice little location between the front seats where there is a raised section that looks right shape, has a thinner rubber section thats right shape for the gland but under the van there is a space between the chassis rails (ok i know a modern vehicle doesn't have a chassis but i'm used to land rovers)
does anyone know hat is under the raised section before i start trying to lift the rubber carpet?
