theres no contract, so if you get a box and think its a ripoff then you dont buy anymore, there is often money off vouchers if you do like a product to get a bigger bottle.
could work out cheaper than spending £15 or more on 1 hyped up product recomended on a forum and then finding out its no better than the stuff in poundland
if you think its a rip off you don't buy it any more.... except you've paid out £18 to be ripped off, thats money you won't get back.
the vouchers in these things are not always for the products that come in the box sometimes that are for completely different products from different brands or they are something else entirely.... 2 free graze box's
with reguards to working out cheaper ?
OK so you've spent your £18 on a box of stuff and in that box is one product you like (a 50ml bottle of wax or something) and you have your 10% off voucher so you buy the bigger bottle of wax at £15 minus your 10% voucher and your big bottle of wax has cost you £13.50 + a Waxybox @ £18 so your bottle of car wax was a bargain at £31.50
Now you could buy something on personal recommendation and not like it maybe its harder to work with or leaves a lot of dust who knows but at least you've only spent £15 and you can still use the product once generally speaking if someone is personally recommending something you could always ask them if they would let you try a bit.
Then what about if you want to try a glass polish, there might not be one in the box and you don't know what you will get till you get it, you might have to wait 3-4 months before you get a glass polish... then you don't like it... or you do like it and there is no voucher for that product so you still have to pay full price and nothing else they have sent is of any interest either so you're £72 out of pocket for 4 months worth of these boxes and no better off than you were to start with and you've only tried one glass polish so you've not really go any basis for a comparison.
in these boxes there is a very good chance you will only see the latest trends or just the latest products doesn't mean any of them are any good and you won't know till you've paid your own money to find out
You are paying them money to market products to you that you may not even be interested in.
you are putting your hand up and saying not only do you not know what you want but also that you need to be told whats good and that you have money to burn on stuff that you don't really need
going back to your point about buying something recommended on a forum on the internet, thats exactly what you are doing but you don't yet have any experience of the product you're recommending !?
