General Water leak in boot

Have a significant water leak into the boot
on left hand side (as looking into the boot)
and wettest area seems to be the top left of the picture

ANyone had anything similar?

Will need to strip out that left hand panel and 'shelf' soon, to try to see where it is coming from

Hi

The 199 body of the later puntos has often suffered from the factory panel sealant drying and cracking

My 199s have had a 50/50 dry vs leak record..

Other simpler things to check are the rear light units sealing against the bodywork

Leaks from the roof aeriel.. or rear screenwash hose

Hi I have a water leakage at the same location, left side of the boot, water ingress trickling down out of the left plastic holder of the rear panel shelf. However, I have no idea what the cause of the ingress is. I dismounted the left tail light, the surface of the sealant looked fine, no dirt. Maybe it is coming from somewhere above the tail light. Have you found a solution? Thx.

Have a look at the Panda 2012+ "water in wheel well". I had a significant leak into the boot and I eventually traced it back to a tiny crack in the panel sealant . The crack in sealant wasn't even near the actual gap in the panels, See photos.
