Technical Water in the foot well & Heater Blower Failed

Been away for a week and found that the combination of all this snow and a blocked drain hole under the passenger side wiper bay is the reason why I have water in the passenger foot well .

I have unblocked the drain and this is now fine , but the heater blower now does not work . All the controls on the climate control operate / display OK and I have hear the vent position actuators operating , but no fan , even if it shows the full bars on the display .... I am guessing that the water in the foot well got there through the heater probably .... how easy is it to get to , I cant find a diagram showing where the fan is located can anyone help with this ?

Mine blew the electronic control board, UK models have this behind the glove locker above passenger feet. It could easily have resulted in a fire.
The water also switched off the safety switch under the passenger seat.

Mine failed last year as well, although nothing else went wrong - didn't cost too much to replace as I recall.
