General warning lights on a punto 1994 55sx

hi gto hold of a punto 1994 other day got a shower type light on the dash board it comes on n off every so oftern any ideas to what it is please and is there a problem with it doin this aswell thx for any answers

What colour is the light red or amber?

it is the red light doesnt have any amber lights on the dash panel it looks like a little shower lol

Injection System Malfunction warning light.

Actually could be any sensor / setting giving intermittent problems.

Best to search the forum for ' Injection System Malfunction ' or get a garage to read the fault codes.

hey pal ive had the same problem heres a list of what it could be, mine was the lambda sensor but i need get some cleaner in the fuel injection system give it a proper clean could have dirt on the injectors,

- lambda sensor
- dirt in the fuel
- spark plugs/ht leads

give them a check over!
