General vl36/38

Ok so hopefully resolving my driveshaft problem monday so now trying to source a new turbo, been looking at vl36 but are around £500 ive seen a vl38 with gaskets for £250 would the 38 also be a straight swap and has it got the same bhp potential as a vl36 or more/less

it's the same turbo... what differs between vl38 and vl36 is probably the wastegate actuator spring. on the vl38 it's slightly softer.

yes its in my uncles garage along with a set of standard springs getting replaced on monday if it goes again next step standard wheels and new gearbox failing that i will burn it :bang: haha

Last thing i have is a new diff approx 1000miles out of an abarth 500, but don't want to be stripping it again anytime soon
