Good day all I am new here
I did change my valve temp seals and refit the head torque and timing on the cam and crank is on mark new plugs new cords and a new distrubutor fitted. Carburetor cleasned and refitted. Car does not start at all. Gets fuel as well as spark. Ot sounds like backfiring through the Carborator now. Please advice me where to start fixing this issue. Car ran before but smoked a lot. Other than that no issues.

Spark plug HT leads on the correct plugs..?

Yes its firing order is 1342 so I was not sure if its going clockwise or anti clockwise so conneted 1 to 1 2 to 3 4 to 2 and 3 to 4 for an clockwise movement and also tried 1 to 1 2 to 2 3 to 3 and 4 to 4 wich should be a anticlockwise turn but no luck
