Hello, guys. (And girls)

I just joined this forum in need of assistance, and by looking at some posts(and searching before I post), I hope to find it here. :)

I (actually my mother) have just acquired a 1992 Fiat Uno 1.0 45hp PINK edition. It is a great little car. Very peppy. :)

Unfortunately, during recent great rains, somehow water made its way into the ECU (around 200 ml). It is a Bosch unit. I unplugged it, disassembled it and left it to dry out.
Next day I plugged it in, but to no avail, it didn't start.

I barely found a similar ECU, unfortunately not the same, difference is in its last three numbers, but the guy took it out of the same Uno 1.0 45 fire, so I put in my car, and it worked, the car starts and it drove ok for the first day or two, but then it began running strangely on idle, it sometimes sounds as it is running on only three cylinders, it is very unresponsive to throttle, but if you can get it to rev, it works ok and then it stalls. It is undriveable, therefore I require your help.

Thanks a lot to whoever finds strength to read all this. :D

Sincerely, Fran
