Hi,
New to this so please bear with. I bought an 03 Ulysse two weeks ago and the timing belt has snapped. The garage I bought it from are disputing who is liable but quoting a £1000 repair. Seems extremely expensive to me so hoping for input from the more knowledgeable :)
Cheers

If they can do it for £1000 I'd be extremely surprised!

Personally I don't trust the eurovan2 cambelt over 50,000 miles! They should have renewed it before you took it, it costs less than £250 to buy the kit and get a garage to fit it so it would have cost them less than that if they have their own mechanics.

I did fix mine myself.
Including cambelt kit/water pump/16 rockers/spring/10 bolts/copper washers and a few other thing I spend less then 300 quid in parts and 1 weekend work.
1000 for a garage is very reasonable (if they can remove the injectors)
