personally i use vaseline, quite hard getting it into the tread but looks good when done

I don't think it's ever safe to use that stuff, I swear people have said before Vaseline and not only that WD40 can rot rubber after a while.

Tyre paint is another option, you can buy a small 500ml pot from Halfords for about £8. Some people swear by it!

I've put oil on mine! looks great! no grip tho!

i better point out that i was joking, by saying it's hard to get into the tread i thought someone would pick up on that bit.
