Had the trekking for 10 months now, just done 5900 miles. I got my first test on snowy derbyshire roads today. Loose snow, compacted snow and slush.
The first part of the journey I was stuck behind a nervously-driven VW Toureg doing 18 miles an hour. Felt the Panda could have handled going faster.
The final part of the journey involved breaking at a junction whilst going down hill on compacted snow.
The Panda took all this in it's stride, I never once felt unsafe or out of control. Dropped my daughter off at nursery without breaking a sweat. Amazing
This is exactly what I bought the car for - those couple of winter months where snow affects the roads-and couldn't be more happy with it's capability. And all whilst delivering 50mpg and a warm bum! What an amazing little car.
Would still like to upgrade to a Cross though
