i own an l reg 1.9 td its been on the drive for over a year because of mot failure they are minor details the main problem is that it is leeking water. im invesigation was traced to a metel pipe running from the water pump that goes underneeth the exhast manifold it was a pain in the a--e to remove from the car but i was chuffed to bits i was going to scrap the car but it is sentimental to me and the mrs i plan to get the repairs sorted soon i will keep you posted

Looks like you've got the last Tipo in Chester I've just replaced the same pipe whilst the head was off mine as it was very rusty, it cost £42 from Fiat. There are 4 types so make sure you get the right one, the approach angle of the small branch off seems to vary. Don't forget to replace the seal on the end.
