hello e1:) good evening, i am replacing the timing chain on the 1.3 multijet. i have fitted the special tools to lock the cams in position but there seems to be a problem. the exhaust cam locating spring pin locates and clicks in position but the inlet cam does not? i have placed a mirror in front of the inlet camshaft locating pin hole so i can see and rotated the engine and the inlet camshaft is not turning is something snapped . thanks for any help, darren.

If the cam nearest the radiator is locked the rear one (inlet) won't turn because they are linked together at the right of the engine I only use one cam locking pin

:yeahthat:

Not a job that I'd touch. Especially when a "specialist" could get it wrong with mine.
