Yesterday my wifes 500 1.3 Multijet sport started asking for a radio code when started up, the battery hasn't died and no fuses or anything have been changed recently so a bit baffled as to why this as happened.

Is there any way of getting a code without having to remove the radio? And is this a normal thing to happen or should I be looking to investigate deeper electrical issue?

Any information you can give me would be much appreciated

No.... To get the code, I need the numbers from the back of the radio. Once you've posted the numbers, I'll let you know if I can get the code.

Perhaps starting the car used enough power from the battery, to leave insufficient power for the radio momentarily. That could trigger the code request.
