what bigger/better turbos fit, that one may find in a scrappy?
first, have you got a jtd 16v or a jtdm 16v. the jtdm has a better turbo to start with as it has a slightly larger vnt mechanism than the early 16v jtds(i think 5.5mm compared to 6.3mm if i remember)i have a jtdm turbo i have hybridised myself to somewhere between a gt1752v and a gt2052v but probably wont get on the car now till next year, it will be plug and play.if going through the hassel of modding downpipe flanges anyway id go gtb2056vk as this appears to be the hot turbo for around 2l cars at the moment.heres a link to alfa turbo stuffhttp://www.alfaowner.com/Forum/tuning-and-upgrades/294692-project-147-jtdm16v-gtb.htmlhttp://www.alfaowner.com/Forum/tuning-and-upgrades/252957-8v-jtd-turbo-upgrade-200-210hp-159-turbo.html http://www.alfaowner.com/Forum/tuning-and-upgrades/190996-147-jtd-turbo-upgrade-options.htmlheres a link to a guy that mods them to vacuum actuators from electronichttp://www.darksidedevelopments.co.uk/products/darkside-gtb-turbo-kit-for-1-9-8v-tdi-golf-mk2-mk3-and-mk4-platform.html try tdiforum and search gtb2056vklook here for ryanp and search his posts on the gtb turbos.regarding injectors the jtd 16v and jtdm are similar in flow i think but the jtdm ducati corse from alfa gt have more flow i believe but are hard to find and the jtdm will flow enough for 260hp.1.9 16V 110kW CR-IPL17-ZEREK20S Bosch 0 445 110 2431.9 16V 125kW CR-IPL17-ZEREK20S Bosch 0 445 110 341hope this helps
