General Temp guage not working

Hi all:wave:

Since buying my cinq sporting,the temp guage has never worked. Me and my dad have replaced the thermostat and the Temp sensor/sender unit and it still doesnt work. We know the gauge works as we heated the sender up whilst connected and the gauge moved up.And now i dont know what to do

Any help would be great.

i have same problem mine doesnt work either is gonig into garage tommorrow to get anti freeze put in so getting it checkedo ut then

Have you shorted the cable out to the block?

mine only moves a bit on the dial and it takes forever to get mildly hot from the heaters..took it in garage who did a pressure test on the system and all was ok..would love to know the cure for this one mate cos its waaaaayyyy to cold outside and i need my thermals when in the car..lol

The guage does go right up if i short it to the block, the fan comes on when ticking over at rest and the heaters work well inside.

mine wasnt working garage repalced it and works fine now lovely and hot
