do not even think about going there. they want nothing but money and are very rude.. tried charging me £330 for a service.... had many a nasty remark and dont care

I thought Norris Bros was pretty good when i took my car there. I bought a new sony XPlod radio/CD player mp3 etc... they charged me £140 and they got me in straight away. Also they found that there werent any lights in my boot at all and fitted them free of charge and ordered in a colour stick to get rid of a few scratches i have on my car (Never went back to pick it up mind). They also was going to drive us home and pick us up instead of waiting round for 2 - 3 hours. (Oh course the driver wasnt in that day though)
From what i saw of them i was pleased, but then again it could have been a one off....

halfords only charge £40. and it would only take your self 20 mins (and an iso connector if needed) as there are only too wire

Yes to buy and fit it.
I was in there again yesterday. To have my radio sorted out (it wasnt saving the station because a wire came out apparently:bang: ) and that was no charge but ive got the warranty on it
Also i lost a wheel trim and wanted to buy a new one and they are £17 EACH!!! They were gonna see if they could knock it down to £15 but i thought nah ill go to ebay. and at present if i win the big it will be at about £11 - £13 so i might as well go back to fiat and buy the damn thing there. But yeah i havent had any problems from them :slayer:

cant be talking about the same Norris bros. they are the least helpful people on the planet, rude and dishonest. they just don't want to know! they wont do simple things like changing a rear bulb when your having a service even if you already have the bulb! they destroyed one of my locking wheel bolts by using a power tool on it, then had to "re-tap the hub" which is complete BS and impossible, and wouldn't replace the damaged bolt. i waited 3 hours in reception because they wanted the car at 9AM to do a simple repair but didn't even start until 12PM -no offer of a lift somewhere, or a courtesy car. i actually cant wait until the warranty is done.
I've had no problems with them, they seem better than research in nuneaton
Actually it depends on the type of work required so chances are a inspection/diagnostic fee does apply.....also its not paid by fiat
that is what norris bros said so i checked with FIAT UK directly who stated that if the problem was covered by the 3rd year warranty spec then no examination fee is paid by the customer. when the work was completed i double checked with FIAT, on thier system was logged the parts, labour and examination fee all paid by them but still on colection they wanted the fee. Norrris said that the 3rd year was covered by 'warranty holdings' policy (i have had these on used cars) and that we should read our hand book carefully, well we did (i am a qualified ISO qaulity auditor) and it clearly states that the 3rd year is provided by FIAT AUTO UK.

Third year warranty is administered by Car Care (not Warranty Holdings)they are no longer trading i dont think,not with Fiat anyway? It is UK specific so if a car is an import it does not have this 3rd yr, they will cover diagnostic if its found that the item is covered, if not the customer has to pay.
These guys ar a right bunch of jokers, they couldn't organise a **** up in a brewery.
They got everything wrong, from finance, to documents needed, to the spec - everything went wrong without one single word of apology.
Gary Norris is a right pillock too, he never looks at you when he talking to you, he's as shifty as they come. Stay well away if thinking of buying, it definately won't be hassle free.
