Technical Springs? Coils?

Hello
Earlier this week i posted a thread about the front for my car getting lower and was advised it was probs the Springs. I called a Garage and asked for a quote for the front Springs and he asked me "do you mean the Coils Springs"? Now as you may be able to tell my Car knowledge pretty much stops at the words 'Car Key'.
So do i mean The Coils Springs? Anyway he gave me a price of 70.00 per Spring (that includes fitting and vat) is that reasonable?

Yes that sounds a fair price (assuming that's fitted). To avoid confusion between springs and coils (which are part of the engine's electrics that fire up the spark plugs) then call them 'road springs'.

Find out what brand they use and search online, you may be able to save yourself a bit of money, then take them to the garage for fitting.
