ive got a mk2 punto w reg 1.2 8v and i bought a sporting spoiler, i cant seem to fit it.. will look like i have to drill through the glass?

also ive got m3 mirrors and i cant seem to figure out how id fit them... looks like id have to drill through the body to get them to fit?

any advice welcome!

Fiat punto sportings have two holes in the glass to enable the spoiler to be fixed, the two bolts actually unscrew out of the spoiler ( should be able to be done with a pair of pliers),You can then bond the spoiler on using tiger seal (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/U-POL-TIGER-SEAL-BLACK-310ML-SEALANT-/150984157937?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item23275b6af1 )Put Tigerseal along the top of the spolier and to bits that come in to contact with the window and put it on the car. Hold it in place while someone gets some masking tape to hold it up, Leave it overnight ( just to be sure) remove the tape and you should have a fully bonded spoiler.

As for the mirrors i assume you have Fiat punto base plates ?? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fiat-Punto-1993-1997-3-Door-M3-DTM-EVO-Wing-Mirror-Base-Plates-Pair-/380461182712?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&fits=Car+Make%3AFiat%7CModel%3APunto&hash=item589540eef8 Not a big fan of M3 mirrors myself, i think the standard mirrors colour coded suit the lines of the punto alot better .

Thats one dis-advantage of the M3 mirrors the base plates, they stick out from the bodywork giving the look someone has fitted the wrong mirrors to the car.Over on Puntomk2.co.uk someone has smoothed M3 mirrors into the body work therefor getting rid of the baseplates, this makes the mirrors look alot better but can be quite costly.
