Had to remove the spare wheel carriage a couple of years ago (usual problem, siezed up, been keeping spare in the boot since). But this year, need the space and found a nice clean one which works and is well greased. Only problem, lost the nuts to secure it - tried 10s and 12s with varying threads to no avail. Anyone know precisely what nut size fits this - an 11 with a fine thread perhaps - if anyone knows, will save me the mess of going under the car at every parts place I try, to see what fits! PS Multi just about to head off to Europe again fully loaded with six and luggage - this trip will take us close to 225,000 miles in the machine.
