Technical Smoking GT

Hi all had my gt for a while now all is good apart from when i stop at say traffic lights or just stop it starts to smoke like an old man some say it mite be the valves some say the turbo when i start it in the morning no smoke turbo still spins up OK good pull not holding back or nothing what could it be any help appreciated.

blue smoke while hot idling suggests turbo trouble.. usually valve stem seals cause smoking from startup or after engine being on the over-run..

No just white smoke and only when its on idle

White smoke is usually water. Check for signs of head-gasket failure such as a creamy substance in the coolant tank, rough running and possibly even a compression test. Punto GT heads are known for hairline cracks against the gasket, causing the gasket to fail.
