General Sisley 4x4 wont turn over just clicks

Hi Guys
Just getting a click when turning the ignition on my Mk 2 4x4. Batterys good and cleaned the conections. Ive tried googleing but no joy. I cant even find where the earth strap is on goole or my workshop manual. The car will start by bump start.
Really need it for the snow

Trace more connections particularly earth strap from engine block to chassis look harder!! . Could be main terminals to starter. Be patient, you will find it, just imagine all the connections between battery and starter and clean in order if ease. Sometimes the wire itself might have broken in a hidden way but start simple.

Ok quick fix take a jump lead attach to the -ve terminal the clip the other to the engine block then try again if it then stars from the key isa earth fault

I went to Halfords and bought a £5 earth strap and bolted it from the battery to the earth for the coil etc and away she went Maybe in the warmer weather i will take the time to clean all the conections. But for now im enjoying driving in the snow
