They're Italian though, it comes with the territory!
I like to call it character, others call it not being put together very well when they're new!

The running costs are whats putting me off. It's either a 145 or Punto GT...

You might look at the 155. The wideline ones handle like big Cinqs. But go for the 1.8 engine rather than the (overly complex and rather fragile) 2 litre.
