On my new to me van i have one of the many heater fan problems,
Now fixed,cost me nothing,only time,time to me now is not that important!
There is no rush with this van,on the plus side i am self employed and charge buy the hour, so if the job is a distance away the customer pays,so could be a good move.
Sorry got carried away there.
Anyway my fan/heater fix,
I have one of these fans that runs all the time you cannot alter the speed at all.
Tested the voltage at the fan big red 12+volts
Small green 2.3 volts,did not alter by moving the control.
Has anybody removed the slide control assembly and do a spot of soldering?
I found after removing the circuit board from the unit a small copper strip had split/burnt away,what could one do,you have a go,Well whip me me with a wet tea towel,it worked
Maybe worth a look?
