Technical resetting service interval

Hi can anyone tell me how to reset the service interval after i do an oil and filter change.

Also would like to know how to get my laptop to talk to the diags in the car.

Dealer only; I doubt you can get your hands on any APIs to make the laptop talk to the ECU...

My laptop connects and talks very nicely to my Stilo i don't know whether it'll be able to put the service light out at all; I'll have to wait until my service light actually comes on to find out

Have a search for OBD2 diagnostics and you'll find a few threads on it

No, it won't be possible to reset the service interval warning with most EOBD software / interfaces - you have to send messages on the CAN-network with the right hard- and software. I did it and it works 100% for the Stilo.
