Technical Removing fuel hoses

Hi all,

What is the best way of removing the factory crimps on the fuel lines??

One end is crimped and the other is jubileed'. im just wanting to bling me bay up abit by fitting some stainless steel braided hose bought from mocal left over from me mini project

I used a smaller high quality flat head screwdriver, not jewellers small but it'll need to be of a sturdy nature, slipped under the top of the crimping and rotated through 90 deg if that makes any sense

I think the fuel hose are CIRC clip. A pair of hose pliers will do the job, or if your replacing, butcher it with a hacksaw or screwdriver.

Which part are you replacing? Fuel line to fuel rail? Just done that on mine

Erm,the two hoses.feed and return to the throttle body.

Are the metal fuel pipes flared at the end to stop the crimp+hose sliding off or is there just some serious crimping force applied????

Just flared to stop it slipping of I'd think.
