Technical Remote lock/unlock not working!!!!!!!

Hi guys,
I need some help. Suddenly the remote lock/unlock stopped working
without any serious reason (the key fob buttons are dead)
so I can only lock and unlock the car manually not remotely.
I have changed the battery with a new one but it is still dead!

Any ideas, suggestions would be appreciated!!

Car: Fiat Bravo Multijet 1.6 120HP 2009 model.

P.S. I have only one key with remote function.

Not sure if this is a similar problem to what I had a few months ago, my central locking went out of sync. I had to manually put the key into the drivers side and turn it right, right then left (could have been vice versa).

Other than that you may have to resync your car with key fob if the battery died out from the dealership.
