Technical Rear Shock absorber Removal

Anyone have a guide on how to remove the A Shock absorbers, having alittle trouble as the lower bolts are seized and the top bolt isn't doing anything ????



any help would be appreciated as I want my Marea back on the road

One bolt on the bottom (19mm nut and square head bolt) and one bolt on the top (15mm head).

Remove both down comes the shock

On the rear subframe where the rear shock absorer is bolted through at the top theres a nut welded to the subframe. I have read people having problems with the welds snaping letting the nut just spin, so they had to put a spanner on it. you can just make the nut out in this picture.

Very good point by Adrain, I had an axle here where the top actually separated from the axle it was that rotten
