im having trouble finding a front left abs sensor for my punto, i was wondering if a rear left abs sensor would work on the front wheel?
I got a new front one from a fiat dealer for 28 quid if thats any help?
Was that a mk2?
Not sure about that, but would have thought they would be around the same price...its essetially the same part!
If your fitting it yourself, make sure you put some grease on the sensor.I used copper grease.they are a tight fit!
Copper grease can disrupt the readings- a normal white grease is better (and used sparingly and not near the sensing end).
Dont use copper grease its conductive and has minimal water sealing abilities. Use silicone grease or vaseline/white grease.
Copper grease is an anti seize paste. Its not a lube so never use on moving bearings/bushes as they will soon be worn out.
