Is anyone with admiral insurance? if so anyone know their opinion on mods?

I'm with them. there fine with Mods. they will just make you aware that they will not cover the costs of the modifications if in an accident. (pritty sure this is the case with all insurers) you have to tell them or they may not cover you.

be careful how you 'word' your mods to them.

for example

'hello, I've added an induction kit to my car'

what you want to say is;

I've upgraded the air filter.

another.

I've lowered my car

what you want to say is;

I've made suspension changes below/more than 5cm.

basically don't use 'boyracer' terms.

what would you say to insurers your put DRL's on?

i've put some well banging lights on my brap brap machine! its well mint!

What i could say
I've made myself more visible to other road users by adding DRL's
