Taking luigi for his mot tomorrow so did a light check today and noticed that the dash light for the indicator doesn't work (the little green one with the arrows on) is this in the test? Indicators work fine so assuming it's just a bulb in the dash
According to section 1.4 of the testers handbook: "information" DirDirection indicator ‘tell tales’ may be audible or visual." But the requirement is :
" the driver’s ‘tell tale’ warning device for presence and operation" With a reason for failure :
"‘tell tale’ missing or inoperative "
It would not be unreasonable (in my opinion) for the tester to insist that a tell tale light that was originally fitted should be working regardless of a working audible tell tale unless it was very loud i.e. not just a relay ticking.
