Hi,

Was going to fit aftermarket Pioneer radio today, with bluetooth.

To my surprise, no power to the radio, after fitting the ISO connector.
I guess the problem is that the Fiat connector, is wired different than the standard ISO.

I looked at a guide on the forum for a Stilo, but the colors of the wires are different.
From the guide i suppose the issue for the Qubo, is with the +12v wire.

Also looked at a Qubo wiring diagram in the downloads section. But it seems to be for a newer model, so its not the same.
Mine is a 2011.

Can anyone tell me what is what, from this picture of the Fiat connector? :)
(Only the power stuff, to the right, left side is fine)

I suppose its:

Black - Ground
Red/white - Ignition 12v or constant 12v?
White - Unknown?
Blue - Unknown?

I will then move the wires around, to fit the ISO.

This is a label off a standard fiat radio.

The wires you’re looking at are can A and can B they are both digital lines for the canbus system and do not carry the power to the radio as you would find on any other radio.

What you need to do is create your own live and switched live for the pioneer radio and DO NOT. Connect anything to these two wires or you risk damaging the canbus system of the car.

The best way to do this is to get a fiat iso adaptor that way you don’t cut up the wiring of the car.

Of course Fiat made some proprietary stuff.. 😅

Thanks for the fast reply! I will go buy an ISO adapter.

Got the adapter today, still not working :(

So borrowed a multimeter, and apparently there is no ignition 12v available in the Fiat connector.

And so the radio wont turn on, at all.

Any suggestions as to where i can pull the ignition 12v from? As close to the radio unit as possible.

Could there be something in the blower/heater unit control?

The Fiat connector is like this:
Black - Ground
Red/white - Constant 12v
White - CAN (Dont use)
Blue - CAN (Dont use)

Solved :)

Took the ignition 12v from the lighter socket, by the handbrake. Maybe not the easiest place to reach, but felt it was pretty "safe" to grab from there.

Sadly i didnt take pictures of the proces.

Installed
- Pioneer SPH-10BT headunit
- Pioneer GM-D1004 Amp
Tiny 4 chan Amp, i got used for cheap, needs no extra power supply
- 2 Din plastic cover from eBay
