your not going to get a lot for your money..... in all honesty the old adage by cheap buy twice i read somewhere on DW that Karcher have a planned obsolescence of 15 hours.......

have a search on Detailing world and see how many threads relate to Karchers dieing in under a couple of years...

we have a stihl £225 ish and its 8 years old.....

and it's still going strong.... (ok it has had a new hose as it chaffed through and a new trigger as it got dropped (from scaffolding)

I have a Karcher model, but was a top spec one - has been hammered loads on drives, patios, cars, and still going strong.

I got a cheap Karcher from Argos when my old one stopped working properly with my foam lance.

About £90 including replacement cover, does the job fine.

Had to swap it before christmas because it froze inside and was leasking pretty bad. Was in and out within 5 minutes with a new one! (which is kept in the garage instead of the shed!)

Cover was about £9 on top of the washer so well worth it.

£90 odd for the washer £40-50 for a foam lance and your sorted lol.

halfords have some good deals on karchers, i've had one for about 5yrs and its been great, used most weekends and still works fine..

if you are after a Karcher, try ebay, they go for peanuts on there and usually come with lots of attachements such as the patio attachment

I was reading something over on DW apparently Karcher wont honor any warranty If you got it from ebay

they wouldnt know? The warranty i had on mine didnt require a receipt or anything... although they wouldnt fix it, even though it was only out of warranty by a month
