I owned a Punto Grande last year for a few months but it just seemed so 'average' and plasticky. I'm sure it probably rode a little better than the 500 but it just didn't have the 500's charm. I'd had a 500 before and now I have another. I'm even considering selling my Giulietta and driving only my 500 - could go on a world trip with the proceeds!
Details like the 500's instrument cluster stand out from the typical fare in other cheap cars. That's why I like the Lounge model of the 500 (rather than Pop or Sport) - identifiable by the glass roof and the chrome door mirror covers - it has even more of that 'charm' than the other versions, and that's the reason to choose a 500 in my personal opinion.
