just thought id share my recent experience with chorley fiat in blackpool, liasing with fiat customer relations to sort a problem i have with my car , thats not covered under 3rd year dealer warranty.
basically some of the leather on the steering wheel and the gearknob has bubbled/lifted/peeled off. took it to my dealer, who promptly said its not covered under 3rd year(which i knew) and they said they would consult with fiat uk, and advised me to contact fiat uk customer relations, withing a week i have been told they will cover full cost of both parts, and i just pay the labour. just awaiting a call to book it in and the labour price
they said the main reason theyve offered a generous goodwill gesture, is due to me having full main dealer service history. certainly pays to look after your car to the book!
so if anyone else has similar problems, dont just accept a no! ive only done 30k so for a steering wheel and gearknob to wear out, cant be blamed on wear and tear lol.
